This Notice supplements the Privacy Policy and explains Duodisly’s parent-managed child-profile features.
1. No independent child registration
A child cannot register for an ordinary Duodisly account. Only an authenticated adult family administrator can create a child profile and child credentials. The adult must confirm that they are the parent or legal guardian, or otherwise have lawful authority.
2. Information connected to a child profile
Duodisly may process:
- name or nickname;
- generated login and securely hashed password;
- built-in avatar/icon/color;
- family membership;
- parental authorization record;
- assigned tasks, task proposals, completion, approval, progress, points, and rewards;
- task chat and comments;
- task evidence photos;
- service-notification preferences and push token;
- safety reports and technical/security logs.
We do not ask a child profile for email, social login, phone number, date of birth, school, home address, or precise geolocation.
3. How the information is used
The information is used only to provide and secure the family task, accountability, reward, communication, evidence, notification, and safety features; support the family; prevent misuse; and comply with law.
There are no public child profiles, targeted advertisements, or marketing purchases in child mode. A child cannot access billing.
4. Photos and messages
Photos and messages can reveal more than intended. The adult should guide the child to upload only task-relevant evidence and to avoid faces of third parties, addresses, school information, documents, health information, intimate areas, or dangerous situations.
5. Who can see child-profile content
Authorized members of the same private family group may see the child’s name/nickname, avatar, tasks, progress, rewards, messages, and task evidence as required by the feature. Service providers process data to operate Duodisly. Reports are available only to authorized Duodisly safety personnel or systems.
6. Adult control and child help
The adult family administrator can manage credentials, reset the password, correct profile information, remove content where available, and delete the child profile. A child may ask the adult for help or use the in-app report tool for a safety concern.
Requests may be sent to privacy@duodisly.com. We may verify the requester’s identity and authority.
7. Parental authorization and additional verification
Creating a child profile records the adult’s authorization. Where law requires stronger verification, age assurance, or verifiable parental consent, Duodisly may require an additional step or restrict the child-profile feature until it is completed.
8. Retention and deletion
Child-profile data is kept while needed for the active family service. When the profile is deleted, active credentials are disabled or deleted and data is removed or de-identified where reasonably possible. Backup copies may remain for up to 30 days. Safety, deletion-audit, dispute, and legal records may be retained for the periods stated in the Privacy Policy.
