Who chooses the task, why another person reviews it, how cancellation works, and when points become available.
How is this different from a to-do list?
In Duo and Family, submitting your own result does not approve it. Another person reviews it and either approves it or asks for rework. Approval earns points for rewards.
Do I choose my own commitments?
Yes. As an adult, you can create a task for yourself and choose an eligible reviewer in your space. Your accountability partner supports your goal; they do not have to assign it to you.
What if I need to cancel?
The normal task flow lets you request cancellation with a reason. The reviewer can approve it or keep the task active with an explanation. Cancellation is not presented as quietly deleting your own commitment.
What is the real difference between Duo and Family?
Duo is for two adults. Family uses the same task, review, points, and reward system, but adds child profiles managed by adults.
Can two people be assigned to the same task?
No. Every task has one performer and one reviewer so responsibility stays clear. The roles can switch on the next task.
Can both adults create tasks and rewards?
Yes. Adults are equal participants. In Family, adults also decide what is created for child profiles.
What can children do in Family?
Children can complete assigned tasks and suggest tasks or rewards. Adults decide what is added and keep control of child access and billing.
Are rewards personal or shared?
Both. A reward can be personal, or it can be visible and available to everyone in the space.
Is a reward tied to a specific task?
No. Approved tasks add points to the balance. Those points can be spent on any available reward.
What if the result is not good enough yet?
The reviewer can request rework and explain what still needs attention. The performer can then submit an updated result.
Does every task need a photo?
No. Add evidence only when it helps. A short note may be enough for many tasks.
Can I switch from Duo to Family later?
Yes. The owner can review the change in Billing. Moving back to Duo may require resolving incompatible child profiles first; Duodisly does not delete them automatically.
Who reviews the result and awards points?
The task’s assigned reviewer checks the submitted result. Approval adds points to the performer’s balance based on the task difficulty. A request for rework does not award those points; update the result and submit it again.
What do I need to get started?
An adult creates an account, chooses a Duo or Family space, and invites someone they already know. Duodisly does not find a partner for you. Adults manage child profiles in Family. Start in your web browser; check the available trial and terms before paying.
Where can I use Duodisly?
Duodisly is available on the web and on Android through Google Play. iOS is not yet available.
